Interpretation
The Dae Chuk hexagram consists of the upper trigram Kan (Mountain) and the lower trigram Qian (Heaven). Kan represents a mountain, and Qian represents Heaven. The image of the Dae Chuk hexagram is Heaven within a mountain. Since Heaven is within the mountain, the energy is accumulated in the mountain. Dae Chuk means that there is much that has been accumulated.
In the hexagram commentary, I Jeong is interpreted as "the point" and Seop means "to cross the water." Raising livestock is mentioned, and it is said that a situation involving livestock is favorable. It is auspicious to raise livestock and eat outdoors, and sometimes it is beneficial to lead the livestock far.
For someone who receives this hexagram, it suggests that now is the time to wait for a good opportunity to unfold and to accumulate strength and prepare thoroughly. Heaven is within the mountain, and the energy of Heaven rises to the mountain. The mountain is lush with vegetation, and the seas are rich in food, all thriving in abundance. By first accumulating strength and building up skill, one will be able to move forward with a steady mind toward their goals, regardless of any obstacles. The fortune is very favorable.
Even if difficulties arise, the accumulated ability will be sufficient to overcome them. The harder the struggle, the greater the outcome. Those who focus on self-cultivation and skill-building, waiting for the right moment, will benefit greatly.
It is also important not to remain trapped in one's inner world but to open the door of the heart, pursue what you have in mind, and face challenges head-on when they arise. This will bring good fortune.
